Three complex structures totalling 500 tonnes were manufactured for this Ammonium Sulphate Mine located in Ambatovy, Madagascar. Being in the cyclone belt, the structures were designed to withstand the 300 kph winds likely to be experienced. The stringent specifications stipulated by mining authorities called for grit blasting followed by zinc-rich epoxy double coating to withstand the highly corrosive environment created by the mining process.
