15m HIGH EXTRUDER TOWER

This steel structure rises over multiple storeys to support machinery used to make plastic bags. [nggallery id=29]

2,500m2 WAREHOUSE

Completed in record time, this structure was recently erected for a longstanding client in addition to several other buildings on the premises. With a highly flammable by-product being stored inside, extensive research was put into the use of fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems and fire resistant coatings.[nggallery id=30]

117m LONG WAREHOUSE

This 35m clear span warehouse structure was erected in Kwamakhutha on time and in accordance with the client’s specification as part of a 9000m2 development. [nggallery id=32]

8,000 m2 TURNKEY PROJECT

The scope of work at Sebenza Forwarding & Shipping saw CSI provide a turnkey service for the building of a logistics and storage facility with an eaves height of 14 metres. CSI and Sebenza continue to enjoy a mutually beneficial relationship with regard to CSI’s export business.[nggallery id=33]

2,000 m2 WAREHOUSE

Situated in Durban this structure incorporates a crane rail with a crawl beam, which is efficient in moving large items around the factory floor. [nggallery id=34]

27,000 m2 WAREHOUSE

This storage facility for a fertilizer plan was built by CSL in Richard Bay. The client specifications necessitated design for the ability to house a 40 truck train under a single roof which spans 120 meters.[nggallery id=35]

8 STOREY PROCESS STRUCTURE

Three complex structures totalling 500 tonnes were manufactured for this Ammonium Sulphate Mine located in Ambatovy, Madagascar. Being in the cyclone belt, the structures were designed to withstand the 300 kph winds likely to be experienced. The stringent specifications stipulated by mining authorities called for grit blasting followed by zinc-rich epoxy double coating to withstand the highly corrosive environment created by the mining process.[nggallery id=36]

10,800 m2 WAREHOUSE

Situated in Isando, Johannesburg this 250 tonne steel structure is built around a food processing facility for Willowton Oil. Designed around the requirements of the client, the structure rises 36 metres high over 6 floors to accommodate a 32m tank.[nggallery id=37]

35,000 m2 COLD Store

Situated at 1462 South Coast Road in Durban, this structure is one of several large storage facilities erected in the area and is an integral part of the South African food export industry. The building was designed to provide a highly advanced, smooth-running operation linking the port logistics with the storage facility.[nggallery id=38]

270 m LONG BULK HANDLING FACILITY

Situated alongside the railway line running from the Durban port this structure was refurbished and extended at the client’s request. With the width of the structure ranging from 25 metres to 44 metres and a total length of 270 metres this warehouse is ideal for storage of product earmarked for import / export.[nggallery id=39]

22 m HIGH WAREHOUSE

This document storage facility is an 11 storey high structure situated in Namibia and houses a complex document storage system.[nggallery id=40]

16,300 m2 WAREHOUSE

Situated in Riverhorse Valley in Durban, this landmark structure spans 111 metres in length. The project was completed in a tight schedule of 12 weeks as per the client’s stringent deadlines. CSI designed and built a unique panelled sliding door system installed in this structure which has proved both successful and highly popular.[nggallery id=41]

12,500 m2 WAREHOUSE

This warehouse is situated close to the Cape Town airport and is an integral part of a nationwide distribution network. 9 metres high at the eaves, this structure spans 70 metres with one internal column reaching 15 metres in height. There are 8 industrial sized doors to facilitate efficient loading of distribution trucks. [nggallery id=42]
